Lodges & outdoor brands

Alaska lodge, fishing & outdoor brand videos

Mountain Mind Media makes brand films and YouTube series for Alaska lodges, outfitters, cruise lines, tourism companies and outdoor brands. We're lifelong anglers and hunters, so we know how to work around guests and guides and still get the shot.

What we make

  • Lodge films

A brand film that shows the water, the food, the guides and what a day at your lodge feels like.

How we film at a lodge

We plan the shoot around your season, your guests and the weather. Two cinematographers mean twice the shots each day and a better film. We keep the crew small, work around guests and guides, and build extra time into the plan for weather and fishing.

What's included

  • A planning call and shot list

  • Two cinematographers, plus aerials

  • Editing, color and sound

  • Versions for your website, YouTube and social media

  • Raw footage on a hard drive you supply

Ongoing content partnerships

Some partners want a steady supply of video and photos instead of one film a year. We plan the season with you, shoot in batches and cut everything for each place it runs. From 2019 to 2025 we directed and edited Bisoncast, an education series for the National Museum of Wildlife Art.

  1. Plan

We map out the season or year with you: stories, launches, events and where you post.

  2. Shoot in batches

Regular shoot days capture video and photos for several pieces at once.

  3. Edit for every platform

Longer films, short cuts and stills, all in one consistent style.

  4. Deliver & review

Files arrive ready to post, and we look at what worked before the next round.

It works for lodges and outfitters, outdoor brands, tourism companies, nonprofits and agencies.

Questions

What if the weather or fishing doesn't cooperate?

Alaska weather, fish and game don't follow a schedule. We build buffer into every plan, and extra shoot days can be added at our day rate if needed.

Will filming get in the way of our guests?

No. We keep the crew small and work around guests and guides, so their trip comes first.

Do you film hunting?

Yes. Our crew includes cinematographers with hunting-show experience, and we're hunters ourselves.

How far ahead should we book?

The sooner the better for summer dates and fly-in lodges, but we often put shoots together on short notice. Call (907) 521-8133 with your dates.
