Wildlife & nature
Wildlife & nature filming in Alaska
Mountain Mind Media films bears, moose, birds and Alaska's big landscapes for documentaries, series, commercials and stock. We know where and when to find animals, handle permits on public land, and keep both the crew and the wildlife safe.
What we film
Bears
Brown bears on the coast and along salmon streams, filmed from a safe distance on long lenses.
Moose & other wildlife
Moose, birds and the rest of Alaska's wildlife, found with local knowledge and time in the field.
Landscapes & seasons
Fall color, winter light, glaciers, rivers and northern lights.
Aerials
Rivers, glaciers and wild country from our Super Cub, a helicopter, or a drone where rules allow.

Questions
Can you get permits for national parks and refuges?
Yes. We handle commercial filming permits for national parks, wildlife refuges and other public land.
Do you fly drones near wildlife?
Only where the rules allow, and never in a way that disturbs animals. Drones in national parks need Park Service approval, which is rarely given, so there we film from our Super Cub or a helicopter.
Can we license wildlife footage you already have?
Yes. Tell us what you need and we'll send samples from our archive. See the stock footage section above.
